Upon your arrival at the airport an English-speaking Explore-Kenya representative will greet you at customs and immigration. The representative will be holding a clearly marked page board with your name on it as you exit the arrivals hall. This representative will walk you through your welcome package documents and itinerary, and they will answer any questions you may have.
The representative will also facilitate the visa process for you if you need assistance. After completing the visa process, you will continue to the baggage claim hall and passenger pick up. Here you will be met by our driver for a private transfer to your hotel.
After arriving at your hotel and settling in, there will be a short meet and greet. At that time we will have welcome remarks, review the itinerary, answer any questions and prepare for day two. Upon completion of the orientation, you will have the option to explore the local shops, restaurants and markets (if time permits) with one of our expert tour guides.

Upon arrival, our guide will drive to Giraffe Manor As you arrive through the front entrance of the Giraffe Manor you feel as though you're taking a trip back in time. With its stately façade, elegant interior, verdant green gardens, sunny terraces and delightful courtyards, guests often remark that it’s like walking into the film Out of Africa: indeed, one of its twelve rooms is named after the author, Karen Blixen.
Enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace as the sun sets behind the Ngong Hills, accompanied by a few long-legged friends. A truly unique safari experience awaits you at Nairobi National Park. Set close to the city limits, this wildlife reserve offers you an opportunity to get close to African wildlife while enjoying the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline in the distance. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a world renowned rescue and rehabilitation initiative primarily focused on the well-being of elephants and rhino’s. Since 1977, the Orphan’s Project has assisted in the recovery and reintegration of more than 150 elephants, returning them to the wild herds of Tsavo. Today, stop in for a visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, found at the Nairobi Game Park Headquarters. Arriving in the early afternoon, participate in a private tour where you will have the chance to meet elephants as well as other endangered animals like the black rhino, and learn about the center’s programs.
