Kenya has some of the most amazing beaches in the world! Diani Beach located in Mombasa, Kenya, is a prized destination for any beach-lover. Here, you will discover pristine white-sand beaches, warm, azure waters and a range of cultures and wildlife dotting the shoreline. Relax with a refreshment in hand as dhow boats trace along the coast, marvel as wind and kite surfer’s race along the waters while you try your hand at these exhilarating activities.

Explore the lovely beaches via jet skis and explore inland on a small-group quad tour led by our expert guide. Pilot your own vehicle or pair up with a loved one and head out to explore with a guide to lead the way. Visit local villages and agricultural areas, see native flora and maybe even fauna, and spend some time sipping fresh fruit juice at Diani Beach.

Tour Overview:

Ages 5 - 70, max of 12 per group.
Tour Duration: 3 days/3 nights. Custom trip add-ons are available if you decide to extend your trip!
Start & End Point: Your trip will start in Nairobi and end in Nairobi.
Logistical Transfers to/from start and end point.
You will be transferred in scheduled charter flights. You will take a 60 minute local flight from Nairobi to the Mombasa. From there you have a 30 minute drive to your hotel!
Live guide: English, German, Swahili.

Departure & Return: Pick up and drop off will be at the beautiful Almanara Luxury Boutique Hotel & Villas. Pick up time is 45 minutes before the start of your tour!

Itinerary

Upon your arrival to Nairobi an English-speaking Explore-Kenya representative will greet you at customs and immigration. The representative will be holding a clearly marked page board with your name on it as you exit the arrivals hall. This representative will walk you through your welcome package documents and itinerary, and they will answer any questions you may have.

The representative will also facilitate the visa process for you. After completing the visa process, you will continue to the baggage claim hall and passenger pick up. Here you will be met by your driver for a private transfer to the smaller Wilson airport where you will take a 60 minute flight to Mombasa. Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will have the option to visit local shops and restaurants, relax at your hotel or - depending on the time - start your tour!

Day 1 - Settle at hotel; meal; 15 minute welcome/meet and greet; visit local shops/restaurants (optional), relax at your hotel or - depending on the time - start your tour!

Days 2/3 - Quad/ATV Tour or Jet ski tour. You will be able to attend both tours on days 2 and 3. It is your decision to decide which tour you do first! See tour details below. At the conclusion of your tour on day 3, you will prepare for your return home on day 4 unless you have made prior arrangements with us.

Day 4 - Early a.m. departure. You will have a private transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi. You will then have a private transfer to Jomo International Airport for your trip home! Until next time...

Quad/ATV Tour (4 hrs)

Quad/ATV Tour times - 9:00am & 2:30pm

During your 4 hour tour you will have three major stops, where you will be showed around rural life in Mombasa and where you can take beautiful pictures. You will visit traditional Kenyan villages and agriculture countryside, where all the fresh fruits and vegetables are produced. We have different trails that we take, sometimes you’ll pass through the forest, sometimes through baobab alleys, other times you will explore the caves. Beautiful landscape is guaranteed. The last stop is at Diani beach where you’ll be served fresh juice and relax before returning back to the base. - Quad driver needs to have a valid driving license. - You can ride on the quad alone or by two - check the option for booking. - Children above 5 years old are allowed to be passengers.

Jet Ski Tour (2 hrs)

Jet Ski Tour times - Hourly through the day til 7pm

On this trip, you will first race along the shoreline about 100 meters out from the beach. Zipping passed all of the stunning hotels that are strung out along the coastline. Then head out to the open waters to pass by the peaceful Diani Island, a place that very few visitors get the chance to see. If time permits you may also get a chance to have a quick snorkel on the many reefs that you will pass.

Many travelers combine Jet Skiing with other activities like snorkeling, swimming with the turtles and dolphins or parasailing. Our team is skilled in both jet skiing and drone operation, so you can focus on enjoying your ride while we handle the rest. Our service is designed to be hassle-free.
