Note:  Depending on the time, you may enjoy a game drive en route to your camp  or check in first and head out later to explore the vast plains.

The vast and remote landscape of Tsavo, formed by the combined expanse of  Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks, is one of the largest in the world, covering a staggering 4% of Kenya's total land area. This iconic park is home to a remarkable diversity of wildlife, including large herds of dust-red elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos,  crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk, and hirola.

Tsavo is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, serval cats, antelopes, kongoni, lesser  kudu, oryx, klipspringer, impalas, striped hyenas, gazelles, buffaloes, and elephants. Over 500 bird species have been recorded in the region,  such as ostriches and migratory kestrels, while buzzards stop in Tsavo during their long journey south.

Settle in for a private transfer between Ukunda Airstrip and your resort along  Diani Beach. Travel time will vary based on the location of your resort, however, the average transfer time is 15 minutes.

Diani Beach is a prized destination for any beach-lover. Here, you will discover pristine white-sand beaches, warm, azure waters and a range of cultures and wildlife dotting the shoreline. Swim in the deeply refreshing Indian Ocean, or find a favorite pool-side spot and post up for the afternoon with a good  book. Whatever you chose, you’re sure to enjoy your leisure time at Diani Beach, a land of coral reefs, colobus monkeys and marvelous white-sand beaches.

Settle in for a private transfer between Ukunda Airstrip and your resort  along Diani Beach. Your guide will pick you up in the morning where you will travel to the nearby airstrip for your return to Nairobi. Approximate flight duration is 90 minutes.

When you arrive in Nairobi, you will have the opportunity to explore the local markets and shops so you can interact with the local vendors in search for the  perfect handicraft or souvenir for yourself or your loved ones. Your guide will let you know what time you will need to be prepared to depart for the airport. Traffic can get tricky so it is recommended to be prepared to arrive at the airport early!

When you are ready to depart your hotel for the airport, a private transfer between your hotel and the airport is provided. Your guide will help you navigate the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to ensure that you have stress free and timely departure. Remember to take plenty of pictures and share them with us!
